Merry Christmas! This has been quite an eventful year, and it’s hard to believe the end of 2021 is finally in sight. We are thankful for the time we had in Haiti this year but are disappointed that conditions in Haiti have continued to deteriorate. Unexpectedly, we are in Florida for this holiday season because of the challenges that Haiti continues to face.
We appreciate each and every one of you. Your support throughout this year means a lot to us. It has given us and our team inspiration and resources to keep fighting for kids and families in Haiti so we can help provide the things that matter most.
We are thankful for our Haitian staff for stepping up to help provide Christmas to our kids. The US staff and a Christmas team often oversee the details of the Christmas Eve parties and tackle most of Santa’s duties. We were able to watch part of the Christmas Eve party and say hello to some of the staff and kids! We would have preferred to be there, but watching on video was very entertaining! We have such talented kids!
We’re so thankful that the American and Canadian missionaries are no longer being held hostage and that they can celebrate Christmas with family and friends. We pray that you enjoy time with family and friends as well. Some family gatherings will be different this year because of loss due to Covid or other causes. We pray that God provides comfort and peace to those dealing with loss.
We hope and pray that you have a wonderful holiday weekend and a blessed 2022.
Merry Christmas, Randy and Denise! We are thankful you are safe! You all have done a wonderful job training the dear people there to carry the load. Hoping and praying that next year we will be able to be together in Haiti!
Thanks Karen. Merry Christmas! We’re praying that things in Haiti settle down and that we’ll see you in Haiti next Christmas!
Thanks for helping to make a good year for these children. God bless and guide your Florida stay and His leading.
