In case you haven’t heard – we’re moving! Denise and I are aiming to be fully funded for our move to Jacmel, Haiti by June 1, and that date is coming quickly! There are less than 100 days to go!
We have been busy meeting with potential partners and setting up more meetings. The past several weekends, we’ve shared our vision and financial goals with people 4-5 times, with another several appointments during the week. We have been blessed by many people who share our desire to help those less fortunate and are choosing to partner with us. We want to say a huge, “THANK YOU!” to everyone who has joined us on this great adventure. In order for us to go, God is providing us with people who want to give, and we are so amazed by His provisions.
Our countdown to June 1 only has 93 days left as I’m writing this update on February 28th. That’s our target date to be fully funded. Click here to see how many days are left now.
We are planning a trip in March to see family and meet with potential partners in Florida and along the way. If you’d like to hear more details about our vision and financial goals, please let us know and we will get you on the calendar. It’s an honor to share what God has put on our hearts in regards to orphan care and poverty alleviation, and to share how to partner with us in this critical mission. We are anxious to get fully funded so we can start impacting the lives of the Haitian children and adults.
We continue to keep in touch with the missionaries and staff at Hands and 
Feet Project to get to know the various roles that everyone fills and to plan our move. In preparation for our departure, we’ve already had people claim a variety of household items, from xc skis, to art work and furniture! Here’s what our family room looks like now, with tags on nearly everything!
We’re continuing to pray about and plan for what to do with large-scale items like the house, the cars and health care. Please join us in prayer as we continue to make plans for our move and meet with potential partners. We are excited about what God is doing and how He will use us in Haiti.
